Healthy Neighborhoods Program Announces Matching Rehab Loans!
Residents whose neighborhoods participate in the Healthy Neighborhoods program may now apply for Matching Rehab Loans for home improvement loans made from the Healthy Neighborhoods loan pool!
Baltimore City has committed $1 million to match these rehab loans dollar-for-dollar. The maximum match is $10,000. Borrowers must meet these conditions to qualify for a Matching Rehab Loan:
- Be an owner-occupant of or be purchasing a home in a Healthy Neighborhood
- Borrow at least $5,000 for rehab from the Healthy Neighborhoods Loan Pool
- Earn no more than 120% of the 2008 Adjusted Area Median Income (approximately $90,960 for a family of 4)

The Healthy Neighborhoods program provides low-interest purchase and rehab loans on target blocks in several parts of Baltimore City.
