Biking is a cost effective way to get around the City. Baltimore has been working on the Bicycle Master Plan providing bike lanes and improving bike trails. Bikes are permitted on the Light Rail, Metro Subway, and the local buses.

The MTA provides up to date information and trip planning services on their website.  To make your trip easier there are different types of passes that can be purchase online, by mail, and in person.
