Volunteers are at the heart of GHCC, indispensable in carrying out our mission. As a volunteer, you will enjoy meaningful work while making a positive impact in your community.
Our volunteers range from young children to senior citizens and come not only from Greater Homewood neighborhoods but from all over the metropolitan area.
Please join us as we work to:
- Strengthen community organizations
- Improve public education
- Prevent crime
- Encourage economic development
- Increase home ownership
- Enhance the environment
- Tutor adults in basic reading, math, English, computer, and job searching skills
