Workforce Outreach Coordinator (part-time)

Greater Homewood Community Corporation (GHCC) is seeking a part-time Workforce Outreach Coordinator for nonprofit community development work in Baltimore City. This position, part of the Baltimore Integration Partnership, conducts outreach to job seekers as part of GHCC work in Central Baltimore.

Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a focus in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related fields; minimum Associate’s degree acceptable. Two years’ minimum case management experience, particularly with low- to moderate-income communities. Must be sensitive to working with diverse populations, including different socio-economic and racial groups. Facilitation skills and experience in community problem-solving and collaborations advantageous. Strong project management skills necessary, including commitment and task follow-through, with an ability to work flexible hours (including some evenings and weekends).

 Administrative Assistant

This position is with the Central Baltimore Partnership, one of GHCC’s non-profit business services partners. Please note that employment is not being offered by GHCC, but by Central Baltimore Partnership.

The Central Baltimore Partnership (CBP), a coalition of neighborhood, private, public and institutional interests that are implementing a comprehensive community development strategy in the Central Baltimore area — an area that is roughly bordered by the Johns Hopkins University Homewood Campus to the north, Greenmount Avenue to the east, Mt. Royal Avenue to the south and Fallsway to the west — is seeking a Full-time Administrative Assistant. The CBP Administrative Assistant will work closely with CBP Executive Director to maintain and organize a demanding schedule.

Bachelor’s degree preferred, with a focus in Business Administration and/or related fields; minimum Associate’s degree acceptable. At least five years of clerical experience preferred, three of which must have included supervision, organization, coordination, and performance of duties at a responsible level. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.  Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and telephone protocol needed.  An ability to multitask and accomplish tasks efficiently as well as strong organizational and information management expected.
